Group Programme

The programme will run for 6 Saturday mornings a term, which may take the format of 5 “regular” structure Saturdays, plus on occasions we sometimes run one “special day” run to a different format. On some occasions the special event days will be open to the wider cello community, both within, and for some events, beyond the Suzuki community. Occasionally, usually only once a year, the special event days may run on a Sunday.

The commitment is to the full 6 Saturdays, and attendance is expected at all sessions.

The timetable may be subject to change, but is for the most part our regular timetable structure for regular group weeks. Concert days may run to a slightly different format. Some students may be invited to join the Cello ensemble sessions in addition to their core group activities.

Groupings

Junior (Pre-Twinkle to early Book 1): Cello Kittens (2 sessions + Playtogether) 9-10.05am + option to observe sessions after that
Intermediate (Book 2-4 approx): Cello Cubs (2 or 3 sessions + Playtogether) 9.30 – 11.40am OR 9.30 – 12.30 with Ensemble
Senior (Book 6 + approx): Cello Cheetahs (3 sessions + Playtogether) 10.30am – 12.30pm
